Fruity Farce

Fruity Farce

Cook Time: 20 mins
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup onions, minced
- 4 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup dried figs, chopped
- 1/2 cup dried apricots
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 pound cooked sausage
- 1 small clove garlic, pureed
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, minced
- 4 cups prepared stuffing, cooked to box directions
- 1 small pumpkin, optional
- Salt and pepper , to taste
Preheat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add butter. Cook onions, celery, cranberries, figs, and apricots for 5 minutes, or until tender. Add wine and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add cooked sausage, garlic, thyme, and cooked stuffing and cook for 5 minutes, or until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place in a carved, seedless pumpkin and serve.
